Lady Ballers

The Daily Wire continues its rage against the woke machine, following its recent announcement of upcoming movie Snow White and the Evil Queen, with its latest release: Lady Ballers. Lady Ballers is directed by Daily Wire co-founder and owner, Jeremy Boreing, and is written by himself, Brian A. Hoffman and Nick Sheehan.

The synopsis from the Daily Wire website reads: In a world where women’s sports is being trans-formed, The Daily Wire calls foul with the most triggering comedy of the year. A once-great coach is on a hilarious journey back to victory by reuniting his former high school championship basketball team. Only this time, he’s challenging them to play like never before – like a girl.

For those who do not know, The Daily Wire is a prominent conservative news and media organization that has gained significant traction in recent years. Established by Ben Shapiro in 2015, The Daily Wire has become known for its unapologetic right-leaning perspective and its commitment to challenging mainstream narratives. With a strong emphasis on political commentary and analysis, the platform offers articles, podcasts, and videos, covering a wide range of topics from current events to pop culture. The Daily Wire's content often reflects a conservative viewpoint and aims to provide a counterbalance to what it perceives as a liberal-dominated media landscape. The publication has amassed a large and loyal following, with its provocative style and outspoken contributors resonating with a significant portion of conservative audiences.

Regular subscribers to it will certainly recognise some of the faces that appear in the movie, including Ben Shapiro, Candace Owens, Jeremy Boreing, Matt Walsh and Michael J. Knowles.

I must admit, I’m not normally a fan of modern-day comedies, but the subject matter of this movie is such a current hot topic, that I look forward to seeing what they do with it. Will this be a great comedy that flies in the face of the ‘woke’ uprising, and makes us think about the repercussions of what is going on in the world around us, or will it be nothing more than a cheap comedy that rides on the back of an utterly bewilderinbg current affairs topic? Time will tell.

Lady Ballers also stars Daniel Considine, Tyler Fischer and Lexiee Contursi, and will be released exclusively on 1 December on DailyWire+.
