Judas and the Black Messiah
Judas and the Black Messiah is an upcoming biographical film that tells us the story of Fred Hampton, chairman of the Illinois Black Panther Party during the late 60s, who was shot and killed on December 4, 1969, by raiding police officers as he lay unconscious in his bed, after FBI informant Willian O’Neal provided all the necessary information about Hampton’s apartment.
It is directed and co-written (screenplay) by Shaka King, whose previous credits include People of Earth (2016-2017) and Shrill (2019-2020). Taking on the role of Hampton is the multi-talented English actor, writer and producer Daniel Kaluuya (Black Mirror - 2011, Get Out - 2017, Queen & Slim - 2019), proving once again that there are no limits to his talent.

Judas and the Black Messiah is due for release at some point in 2021.
