Becky
Kevin James takes a break from his usual movie antics by taking on the role of escaped convict Dominick, in upcoming home invasion thriller Becky. Becky stars Lulu Wilson in the titular role, a seemingly troubled girl who turns up at her father’s lake house (what could possibly go wrong?) only to have her weekend plans scuppered by four pesky convicts looking to find a key.
As with all home invasion movies (which I have quite an obsession with) shit eventually hits the fan, and things naturally don’t seem to be going to plan, as the fucked up version of Kevin McCallister seemingly wreaks havoc on the once King of Queens, and his goons.
I must admit, I’m already iinterested in this film and though I don’t expect it to be out of this world, I am looking forward to some obvious mayhem. Looks like we’re going to get strong performances from both Lulu and Kevin (James, not McCallister).
The film also stars Joel McHale, Amanda Brugel and Ryan McDonald and is directed by Jonathan Millot and Cary Murnion. Becky lands at lake houses, on-demand and digital on June, 12th.
